Compulsory programs for drivers under 18

The Driver Instruction requirement set forth by the DMV for teenagers is a minimum of 30 classroom (50 min.) hours and a full 6 hours of behind the wheel instruction by a certified driving instructor. Elischer's offers a Planned Program to meet these requirements, stressing the finer points of defensive and economical driving techniques required for accident prevention. Upon completion, certificates are issued. If you are 16 years old, have held your permit for six months and have finished your 50 hours of supervised driving, you may apply for your license. Complete your driving requirements in 3 days. Driver Education in 4 to 5 days.
